The Retreat Package

Accommodation

Our stay will be a charming family owned boutique lodge hotel, overlooking the Lyngen Alps and the fjord. A home away from home. The owners and the staff at the lodge will make your stay unforgettable, through their passion for high service, cultural knowledge and professionally guided adventures into the Lyngen Alps and beyond.

There are a total of 9 rooms, each with ensuite bathroom and toilet and stunning sea or mountain views.
Choose between cozy double beds or twin beds separated by a small wall, each featuring en suite bathrooms.
Complimentary amenities including towels, bathrobes, slippers, premium toiletries, will be provided.

Food

Enjoy our full board service with a delightful buffet breakfast featuring fresh bread, cereals, fruits, and hot dishes. Lunch is served at the lodge or outdoors during activities, accompanied by warm drinks and snacks. Indulge in our afternoon tea buffet with homemade cakes, fresh fruit, and savory platters.
Dinner includes a 3-course menu or buffet with the finest local ingredients like fresh fish, reindeer, and lamb.

Yoga

During the Norway retreat, you can participate in daily yoga sessions and ‘Build Your Resilience’ workshops, available both in the morning and afternoon.
These activities are designed to enhance your physical and mental well-being, providing a holistic retreat experience. Whether you’re looking to relax and unwind or build inner strength, these sessions will cater to your needs. Join us for a rejuvenating and empowering journey in the beautiful Norwegian landscape.

Other activities

During our Arctic retreat in the heart of Norway, you can embark on a thrilling Glacier Hike or explore the scenic Kåfjord Bridge Hike. Experience the beauty of the fjords with a Fjord Safari, including an invigorating Island Hike. For water enthusiasts, we offer Kayaking, Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP), or an exciting Electric Fatbike Tour. Choose between moderate or advanced adventures to suit your preference and skill level.

Travel info

Lyngen lodge is located in the North of Norway, on a 2,5 hours drive from the airport of Tromsø.

There are regular flights from Brussels with SAS Scandinavian Airlines or Norwegian, with a stopover in Oslo.

We will help you with flight recommendations once you decide to join.

Group transfers are provided from Tromsø airport.

Other useful details

Yoga will be offered twice a day in the morning and the evening. You will discover breathwork, healthy yoga movements for strength and flexibility, self-myofascial release, calming yin yoga, meditation, tapping and more.
The morning sessions will be more dynamic and consist of functional yoga movement, invigorating breathwork, and a meditation to start the day.
You will gain strength and flexibility, learn to find balance between effort and ease, find a deeper connection within, through the breath and your body. Expect deliciously deep and juicy classes with special attention for breath, alignment, technique. All levels are welcome. The evening sessions will be a nurturing mix of yin yoga, calming breathwork, self massage practice with myofascial release and tapping. These practices will help you to release tight areas in your body, improve your range of motion, and recover quickly from your daily stressors and your sport training. During the week, you will learn simple tools that will support towards a more balanced, energized, and focused version of yourself.

Lyngen Experience Lodge is located all by itself, almost at 70’ North, in fantastic surroundings. Facing the fjord with pristine mountains as a background, you get the ideal experience of Norwegian nature and the Arctic environment.

The lodge consists of 9 double rooms, a total of 18 beds, which has its own bathroom. In the living room you have a great view of the fjord, where both boating and wildlife appear on the outside of the living room window. A hot sauna and an outdoor jacuzzi can also be enjoyed in our Spa area – and if you are really tough, you can swim in the sea right down by the shore.

Choose between a double, single or twin room. All rooms have ensuite bathroom and toilet.

Homemade seasonal food, with local ingredients will be served. The skilled chef at the lodge adapts the menu according to what ingredients are in season – and is happy to let seafood play the leading role. Fish and seafood is an important part of Northern Norwegian food tradition, which is often reflected on the plate. The lodge also wants to give you a taste of what sprouts and grows locally – such as fresh and rich root vegetables.

If you have any special requests, the chef is more than happy to prepare special meals to make a great stay for everybody.

Throughout the day, stay refreshed with water, coffee, and tea available at your convenience.

We will take you on epic hikes through wild trails that’ll push your limits and show you the untamed beauty of Norway’s wilderness. You can choose to join all the way to the top of the mountain or return half way, different levels of fitness are welcome. We have different guides for several trails, whether you want to push your limits or take it easy.

From hikes above the stunning Lyngenfjord to cold-water swims, boat trips and going on the E-mountain bikes, several activities are offered on a daily basis. You can choose to make this a very active week or you can take it more slowly and enjoy the wellness facilities and the comfort of the lodge. You can choose between MODERATE or ADVANCED adventures.

Some activities are more weather dependent than others. In case of bad weather an alternative activity will be offered.

Bookings are made directly with Lyngen Lodge. Upon completion of this form, you will be asked to pay a 25% non refundable deposit, which will secure your spot. The remaining 75% due 6 weeks prior to arrival.
