Take the wheel of your health into your own hands and learn simple tools to release stress and tension. With this workshop you will receive techniques that will help you sleep better, recover faster from a workout or a stressful day.
We start this workshop with a short presentation, explaining various tools you can use to bring your body in relaxation mode, influence the autonomic nervous system and release stress and tension.

In today’s fast-paced world, many of us are in “on” mode all day long—rushing from task to task without hitting pause. This constant activation of the sympathetic nervous system (our “fight or flight” response) makes it hard for the body to switch off and recover.
That’s where the parasympathetic nervous system usually comes in—it helps us rest, digest, and recover. But, in our modern lifestyle, our bodies have forgotten how to switch off.

Our stay is a recently renovated farmhouse situated in one of the most idyllic corners of Heuvelland, at the end of a dead end street in the middle of an oasis of green and in an absolutely quiet area. The Douvevallei is a farmhouse with a soul, where you can come home, where you can empty your head, where you can taste nature, where you can hike endlessly. It has an outside natural pool, a sauna barrel, an infrared cabine, outside shower and lots of space to hang out and chill.

At our retreat, Nele, our chef, creates food with love that’s not only delicious but also nourishing and colorful.
